Maria Montessori Film
Set at the turn of the 20th century, the film follows Lili d'Alengy, a famous Parisian courtesan who flees to Rome to hide her daughter with a learning disability to protect her social standing. In Rome, she meets Maria Montessori, a brilliant young doctor pioneering a revolutionary, inclusive educational method for children society has written off. While Maria helps Lili’s daughter find her voice, both women must find their own strength to navigate a male-dominated world and protect their own deeply held secrets. It is an inspiring tribute to one of Italy's most historic and influential figures related to the Italian education.

VOLARE Film Night
Volare, a comedy film directed by Margherita Buy, tells the story of AnnaBi, a successful actress who suffers from aviophobia - fear of flying. Italian Film
SOLD OUT Dante’s first film for 2026! Come along to a comedy film “Guerra dei Nonni”/ War of the Nonni on Thursday 26th March. Doors open at 5:45pm at Casa Italia Social Club 28B Grove Street. Your ticket includes antipasto and an aperitivo before the film beginning at 6:30pm.
